Hello there. My name is Michaela, I’m the writer behind She Listens, She Reads, She Speaks. I’m an Ohioan through and through, and currently find myself attending college at The Ohio State University. I study English Pre-Education with focuses in Media and Society and Creative Writing.

I am so passionate about any project or activity I get myself into. Aside from my own little blog, I write at The Young Folks,  look forward to spending time working for OSU’s literary magazine, Mosaic this coming semester, and run a book club. I am looking forward to teaching a creative writing class next semester to further spread my love of the written word and everything it can do.

I look forward to establishing myself in the publishing industry; my dream job would entail either writing YA books or editing them. However, I also enjoy great indie and alternative music and love sharing it with anyone who will listen. I couldn’t be happier than when my head is buried in a book or my headphones are in, enjoying my favorite tunes. There’s no other way I’d rather spend a day.
